For 3 years now, Marc has been nothing but an inspiring, encouraging, and a thoughtful mentor. I came in somewhat self-conscious with a pretty unexposed mind and he’s introduced me to all kinds of great music while instilling confidence in my own abilities. Every lesson is made fun and something to look forward to. Marc pushes me to the best of my abilities without inflicting stress and makes every occasion a new experience. Not only has he been an outstanding teacher, but an amazing friend as well. I’m extremely thankful to have someone like him in my life.

Marc ROCKS! He's an amazing guitarist and teacher. He teaches me the proper techniques while playing the music I love most. He knows how to play and teach all genres of music and if he doesn't know how to play a song, he learns it for me in about 2 minutes. Marc is easy to understand, nice, and funny. Between school, sports, and vacations, my schedule is busy, and Marc is very patient with my progress. I leave each lesson wanting to be a better guitarist. My son picked up a guitar at age 8, and soon found his passion. So my husband started teaching him the basic chords and how to strum, and Marlin was soon playing songs. Although I don’t know much about playing, I could see that my son needed professional instruction. We were referred to Marc by a friend, and visited him at his studio. To our delight, Marc is great with kids, having young children himself. He has the best balance of patience while giving excellent constructive correction, in a positive way. During the first lesson, Marc quickly identified several incorrect things Marlin was doing and made adjustments such as how to best hold his guitar and pick, and how to sit properly. He gave him the good habits that set him up with a strong foundation. Marc is a perfectionist in the very best of ways. He also makes learning fun. Marlin has progressed quickly because of Marc’s teaching style. I know several other kids who take lessons elsewhere and, I can say with confidence, that Marc brings his students along further, and with a set of skills faster, than anyone else I have seen. Marlin is now attending Orange County School of the Arts in the Guitar program, at the age 12. We are so proud of our son and Marc is a huge part of his success.
